1. From your childhood, what do you miss most about summer vacation?- horseback riding and softball…

2. Are you going anywhere on vacation this summer?- myrtle beach for a baseball tournament/family get together…CANNOT wait!

3. What foods do you like to barbecue?- salmon, on a cedar plank, with veggies…

4. How do you celebrate the fourth of July?- going to see fireworks, anywhere! love them!

5. What’s your favorite beverage to drink in the summertime?- blended strawberry lemonade from starbucks, or a nice glass of chilled pinot grigio…

6. What movie are you looking forward to seeing this summer? the final harry potter movie…are there other movies coming out this summer?

7. In the car: windows down or AC?- windows down until i hit the highway…

8. Have you ever had a summer fling?- nope, never cool enough for one…

9. Do you wear sunscreen?- not as much as i should…

10. Do you have any favorite summertime activities?- baseball games and outdoor concerts…

i have to thank my friend amys husband brian (who will be this next year!!) for the picture, i know my parents and my sister have some pics as well, just havent gotten them yet. best part of the day? walking down the stage then the aisle and looking up over the crowd and seeing my parents, my sister, nick and my husband everyone cheering for me and my husband giving me the thumbs up…

ten on tuesday…

so once again the only way i actually write something is by answering the ten on tuesday questions brought to us by the lovely chelsea. but dont fret too much, i have posts swirling in my head about the surprise bridal shower i threw for my sister, the  new job, commencement and the fact that i can read for fun now…

1. What is the weather like in your city today?- today was partly sunny and getting warmer, until four o’ clock, when nicks baseball game started, then the sun went away, the wind picked up and the temp dropped at least 10 degrees…every. single. game.

2. Do you like the zoo?- meh, they are alright…

3. Do you eat coconut?- ewww…no, never, its gross…

4. Have you ever hammered a nail? Are you good at it?- yes and yes, i can even hammer hot metal to make a nail…just saying!

5. Does your family have a vacation destination that you visit often?- it used to be new jersey. we grew up in michigan and would come out to the east coast every couple of years to visit family…so technically yes we still visit there…

6. How many pillows do you sleep with?- i start out with two and end up with one or none…depending on the sleep…and if i “share” a pillow with my husband…

7. What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?- feed the dog…

8. Will you send your kids to summer camp?- already have…

9. What do you put in your baked potatoes?- butter, perhaps a pinch of salt…

10. Did you take swimming lessons as a kid?- i started taking swimming lessons when i was six months old, to say i swim like a fish is an understatement…
